David Schroeder suffered a fractured vertebra and MRSA infection that was nearly fatal. After multiple surgeries, he finally got to focus on his journey to recovery with Vibra.

After suffering from a severe infection in her left leg, Mrs. Clancy came to Vibra for wound care and intensive rehabilitation. She happily returned home with her regained independence and confidence to continue her recovery.

Billy Shaw lived a very active life alongside his spouse, doing his own yard work, driving, and walking with only a cane for assistance. After developing swelling, Billy sought medical treatment, beginning with a series of outpatient visits. Ultimately, Billy was admitted to a local short-term acute care hospital for treatment.

Linda Thompson woke up in the middle of the night experiencing abdominal pain. She called 911, and an ambulance arrived to transport her to Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital. At the hospital, doctors diagnosed Linda with a perforated stomach and a hiatal hernia.

After undergoing some lab work, Kaye met with her physician to review the results. Unfortunately, some of the values were abnormal, which resulted in Kaye admitting to BSA Hospital. At the hospital, Kaye was diagnosed with pancreatitis.

While watching TV one day, Peter got very dizzy and noticed he couldn’t stand up. After being taken to a facility in his home state of New Mexico, Peter soon transferred to BSA Hospital after being diagnosed with a stroke.

A pickleball injury brought Jay Graham to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo. Before his injury, Jay kept physically active first by golfing, later adding pickleball to the mix. He also was active in the community, working and driving.

A recent heart attack led William Patterson back to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo. Before the heart attack, William lived at home and got around fairly well. William was at home when he had the heart attack and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. His doctors recommended inpatient rehabilitation.

Prior to his stroke, Dean Newton lived independently and worked full-time for the City of Amarillo. Dean’s stroke occurred four days after undergoing a coronary artery bypass and aortic repair.
