Billy Shaw lived a very active life alongside his spouse, doing his own yard work, driving, and walking with only a cane for assistance. After developing swelling, Billy sought medical treatment, beginning with a series of outpatient visits. Ultimately, Billy was admitted to a local short-term acute care hospital for treatment.

Linda Thompson woke up in the middle of the night experiencing abdominal pain. She called 911, and an ambulance arrived to transport her to Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital. At the hospital, doctors diagnosed Linda with a perforated stomach and a hiatal hernia.

After undergoing some lab work, Kaye met with her physician to review the results. Unfortunately, some of the values were abnormal, which resulted in Kaye admitting to BSA Hospital. At the hospital, Kaye was diagnosed with pancreatitis.

Peter Cervantez

While watching TV one day, Peter got very dizzy and noticed he couldn’t stand up. After being taken to a facility in his home state of New Mexico, Peter soon transferred to BSA Hospital after being diagnosed with a stroke.

Jay Graham

A pickleball injury brought Jay Graham to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo. Before his injury, Jay kept physically active first by golfing, later adding pickleball to the mix. He also was active in the community, working and driving.
