William Patterson

A recent heart attack led William Patterson back to Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo. Before the heart attack, William lived at home and got around fairly well. William was at home when he had the heart attack and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. His doctors recommended inpatient rehabilitation.

“I told the doctor it’s Vibra or home,” William said with a grin.

William had been a patient at Vibra before. “Therapy did a great job on me last time,” he said. William also appreciated the cleanliness of the rehabilitation hospital.

William’s second stay at Vibra didn’t disappoint, especially the friendly staff. “Richard with EVS is a very nice guy. He’s friendly and kept my room clean,” William shared. “Nursing is friendly and provided good care, too.”

While at Vibra, William had important goals, namely returning home and seeing his grandchildren. He worked hard during his stay to meet those goals and get back to playing with his grandchildren. William hopes to be more active at home and strong enough to go to the store without assistance.
